iDidGo! New to the travel community: Our Purpose
Guess it only makes sense to introduce ourselves in the first blog. iDidGo is a travel social network and community dedicated to developing a useful, intelligent and powerful platform for travelers, the travel curious, and of course our travel bloggers! The travel bloggers who have dedicated their lives and time to create great information for the everyday traveler.
iDidGo is currently in organic start-up mode and we have decided to NOT scrape the web of all its travel content then repackage it on our site… It’s a risky option NO major community with a millionaire CEO will take. However, we are not millionaires and we truly believe that we can build this community from word of mouth and solid people who want to help other travelers make the right choice.
The future? Well it’s bright for iDidGo! But first we really would like feedback from the community that will help us perfect the site. We know we are in beta and you will find a few problems to start. Please be patient and know that the journey does not end here!
So go on! Search for people and places! If the results come up empty and you know someone that has been? Or planning on going? Then please spread the powerful word of mouth that we exist!
