8Why you may need to take a Sabbatical
Sabbatical
Sabbatical is a rest from work, or a break, often lasting from two months to a year. We all suffer from some type of stress regardless of the line of work we are in. Requesting a sabbatical from your job does not mean you “do not have what it takes”..It simply means you are ready to charge your batteries. If you are on the border line of quitting your job due to stress, we highly think you should consider the sabbatical option. Now, complaining is one thing, stress is another!
Do you suffer from any of these?
1. You are 27 and you have a full head of grey hair
2. Your boss gets into the office after you and leaves hours before you
3. It’s November and you still have not taken a single day of vacation
4. You are working on holidays
5. You dream about completing work the next day and wake up with anxiety
6. You haven’t seen your real friends in over a year
7. You have not stayed up past 9pm only so you can get into the office when the door opens
8. Your colleagues continue to tell you to take a break
9. You feel like hurting people in your office
10. Cry yourself to sleep, terrified of going back into the office the following morning
and a bonus….
11. The night cleanup custodian knows more about you than your real friends.
