SEO Rich Content: How to Write for Better Ranking in Travel Content

Is your wish is to make Google to look at you?

A Day before I was wondering how to make a SEO rich content, I previously posted “How to make the first paragraph of your blog post”. I learnt many lessons on SEO with my previous blogs GEEKSPLUNK, INETS, 5inetune and more. I left blogging on those blogs but I get traffic more than 300 a day. That was the time I learnt various SEO tips. Now I will be sharing what learnt to make “SEO rich content”.

5 Tips to make a SEO Rich Content

Permalinks

Permalinks place an important role on SEO of your content. Permalinks must not be a very long sentence. It must not be your post title. Permalink must look like this

“http://yoursite.com/your-keyword”

Example:                                              

Let the title be “How to Search Engine optimize your wordpress blog with AISEO”

Your permalink must not look like this

“http://yoursite.com/how-to-search-engine-optimize-your-wordpress-blog-with-aiseo”

Here your keyword is “Search Engine Optimize for a wordpress blog”

Therefore your permalink must look like this

“http://yoursite.com/search-engine-optimize-a-wordpress-blog”

Post Title or Meta Title

Post Title or the Meta Title of your post, is also as important as your permalink of your post. The title must contain your keyword and followed by blah-blah. You could understand it better with an example.

Example:

Your title must not look like this

“How to: Search engine optimize your wordpress blog with AISEO”

Keyword here is “Search engine Optimization for a wordpress blog”

Then your title must look like the following

“Search Engine Optimization for a WordPress Blog: How to optimize your blog with AISEO”

Why the need of Blah-Blah after “Search Engine Optimization for a WordPress Blog”

Usage of Blah-Blah is only to draw the attention of your readers.

Meta Description

Meta description of your post is an integral part of SEO. Meta description must be the excerpt of your post. Your excerpt need not be the first paragraph of your post. Excerpt must start with your “keyword”. And your keyword followed by a hyphen. Excerpt may be a short description or short summary of your post with “your keyword”. This could be explained better with an Example.

Example:

Let your post talk about “How to do Search Engine Optimization for your wordpress blog with AISEO”.

Keyword here is “Search Engine Optimize a wordpress blog”

Then your description must look like this:

“Search Engine Optimize (SEO) a wordpress blog – Here you learn how to optimize your wordpress blog with All in SEO plugin.”

Content Duplication

In this case your content must be grouped in only one category not more than one category. Why you shouldn’t categorize your post in one category?Categorizing content in two categories will make the content as a duplicate content. So, never ever categorize a post in two categories, categorize a post in only one category.

So, therefore you avoid content duplication. If you categorize it in two categories it will show an adverse effect on your search ranking.

Post Tags

Instead of categorizing your post more than a category, add tags to your post which will be indexed in search engine. Adding more than a tag will never ever result in content duplication. So, it is advisable to more tags to your post.

Guidelines for choosing Post Tags

• Your tags must be search keywords.
• Your tags may be your category’s name.
• Tags must not exceed 3 words.

You can adwords keyword tool to choose your “search keywords” and “post tags”.

These are the few methods I learnt on SEO, with my experience on blogging. I will be sharing few more tips on optimizing your blog post to search engine in upcoming posts.
